Introduction to Rhythm Play!™ Training and Creative Teaching

Today more than ever, youth development requires innovative and dynamic programming. To create effective learning situations for young people, curricula, while being substantiated with necessary academic information, must also be engaging and encompass life lessons and values. Curricula must grab the learner’s attention by providing experiential activities that are relevant, motivating, and memorable.

Rhythm Play!™ classroom programs offer research-proven, rhythm-based experiences that have been shown to create neurological receptivity to learning.

Utilizing rhythm activities from the newly published book and CD, “ Rhythm Play! ” the training sessions provide students and teachers of all subjects with simple, effective, kinesthetic activities that integrate academic learning with important social skills in an atmosphere of playful community music making.

I came back to school yesterday and just flipped it open and used the World Tour. My kids loved it and I had a lot of fun too! This morning, my fourth graders and I made a rhythm recipe of deep dish pizza and right now my fifth graders are in their small groups writing their rhythm stories! I can't wait to hear them.
